Your hero is everything

Your hero isn't a pawn to respawn. Nothing gets built unless he's there to order it. Leave home and your town can be sacked behind you. If he's captured, you kneel as someone else's vassal. If he's killed, it's over.

Climb a hierarchy made of players

Start as a Baron with a tent, one worker and a sword. Every rank, from Baron to Emperor, is earned by the vassals beneath you, not handed out. Tax flows up and troops flow down, so loyalty only lasts as long as it pays.

Conquer, enslave, rebel

Crush a rival lord and decide his fate: make him your vassal or force him into servitude. Grow strong enough and turn on your own king, then win his vassals over with better terms.

From the throne to the blade

Zoom smoothly from a bird's-eye view of your realm down to first person on the battlefield, with no loading screens. Hold the high ground, ambush caravans in narrow passes, and take a city with one well-placed gift horse.

A world that never stops

The world is huge and procedurally generated, and every road outside the safe zone is PvP. Trade, raid or protect the caravans that hold the economy together.
